After a rather tough play, OtheGuys F.C.'s Manuel Evis got a free kick in the 8th minute. NEWELLS 74's Victorio Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Evis in the 11th minute of play. Hernan Caitano's late challenge caught a OtheGuys F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Caitano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of OtheGuys F.C. booed when NEWELLS 74 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Caitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Evis in the 19th minute of the match. When Jorge Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OtheGuys F.C.'s protests and gave Jorge Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Jorge Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Laureano Bizi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Guzman skillfully saved the ball. Justino Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Gentza having to interfere. Victorio Gentza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Cayo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Evis took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Gentza. Victorio Gentza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Manuel Evis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Evis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Caitano in the 52nd minute of play forced OtheGuys F.C.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to NEWELLS 74 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anier Remigio hit a great ball. Filomeno Escobar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorio Gentza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, NEWELLS 74's Laureano Bizi got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes, OtheGuys F.C.'s Filomeno Escobar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorio Gentza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OtheGuys F.C. reached it. Hernan Caitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, NEWELLS 74 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Remigio to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, NEWELLS 74's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Evis came free, but Victorio Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NEWELLS 74's Hernan Caitano got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Evis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Gentza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when OtheGuys F.C.'s Manuel Evis in the 87th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Victorio Gentza was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for NEWELLS 74 through an amazing save. Hernan Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nemesio Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
