The supporters of Don Torcuato FC booed when Lezcanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Don Torcuato FC's Alfredo Senen tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lezcanos FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Teobaldo Rocendo hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Aldo Gaitano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lezcanos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Don Torcuato FC the free kick. In the 15th minute, one of Lezcanos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lezcanos FC. The referee gave Don Torcuato FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredo Senen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lezcanos FC's Severiano Weterio. 1-0. After 22 minutes, Nunez Gotzon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lezcanos FC and the Don Torcuato FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lezcanos FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nunez Gotzon hit a great ball. Severiano Weterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Tino, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Don Torcuato FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Ofelio. In the 28th minute of the match Lezcanos FC got a corner. Don Torcuato FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximo Neron ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Lezcanos FC's Severiano Weterio got control of the ball when Alfredo Lohitzun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Amaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Gotzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Tino during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melquiades Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Gotzon in the 45th minute of play forced Don Torcuato FC's goalkeeper Bruno Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Don Torcuato FC's Alfredo Lohitzun got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. Severiano Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Tino in the 54th minute of play. Nunez Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Amaya having to interfere. When Melquiades Tino came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Don Torcuato FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Tino couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Weterio having to interfere. Melquiades Tino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Tino in the 71st minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Don Torcuato FC's Melquiades Tino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Weterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roque Sugoi hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nunez Gotzon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 87th playminute. Severiano Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Eguzki during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
