Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Arnas to make the kick off. When Dario Virila fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazán's protests and gave Dario Virila a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Saldaña FC booed when Mazán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball.
