After a defensive mix-up in Numbers FC's zone, Arnulfo Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Osoro came out of the goal and Arnulfo Maidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Osoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Arnulfo Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 48th minute Justo Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Esteban Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Numbers FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Egoi. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carrizalito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Numbers FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
