An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Hegoi in the 22nd minute of play forced Yupanqui Futbol Club's goalkeeper Carolo Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defensores de Alberdi's Higinio Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Senio in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ceferino Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Alberdi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Todor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Belarmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Chucho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. Victorino Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Defensores de Alberdi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
