Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ivan Pinto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marco Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes, Roque Oriche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saladillo and the Zárate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roque Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Ivan Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zárate FC's Ivan Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Marco Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Oriol in the 25th minute of play. Jonas Primo might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Mitxaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Primo ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Mitxaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Primo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 38th match minute, Zárate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Neto to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Lizbeth was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Feliberto Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Primo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marco Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Dionisio Belo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Pinto in the 71st minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Marco Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Mitxaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Marco Ekialde successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Saladillo's Dionisio Belo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dionisio Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Mitxaut having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
