After having played for 5 minutes, Jimeno Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zef Zide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Beturian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Amato in the 9th minute of play forced Zef Zide's goalkeeper Domingos Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lázaro Amato came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the San Roman F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Amato couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Jimeno Beturian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Oskarbi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Zef Zide's Evaristo Errolan got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dante Gentza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingos Caetano. Zef Zide's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Asur took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Caetano. Domingos Caetano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Abel Oskarbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Beturian in the 30th minute of the match. Eliseo Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Zef Zide's Domingos Caetano got control of the ball when Cristian Asur tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Asur got free with Domingos Caetano in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Errolan charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Errolan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Zef Zide got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Errolan. Domingos Caetano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Asur's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Jimeno Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Oskarbi having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Jimeno Beturian fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cristian Asur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zef Zide were furious when Evelio Barea was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Zef Zide:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Roman F.C.:s goal. The referee gave San Roman F.C. a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dante Gentza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zef Zide's Domingos Caetano. 3-1. The supporters of San Roman F.C. booed when Zef Zide was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute Cristian Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. San Roman F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Zef Zide for much of the match.
