The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Mariño:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rolón:s goal. Marcelo Sarracino placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Elpidio Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Rodrigo Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Sol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Errando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Sol in the 45th minute of play forced Rolón's goalkeeper Vladimiro Errando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rolón's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
