Spectators: 6250 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Intersport FC's zone, Ciriaco Chus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Montae came out of the goal and Ciriaco Chus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Chumillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Tibalt came free, but Esteban Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Romo having to interfere. Chumillo AFC's Esteban Romo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Chumillo AFC from getting a goal against them. Esteban Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Tibalt in the 27th minute of play. Marcelo Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Esteban Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Intersport FC's Marcelo Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Teodosio Sarracino came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Chumillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Sarracino couldn't finish the play. Chumillo AFC's Ciriaco Chus got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcelo Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Chus was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jonas Reyes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Romo. Chumillo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Reyes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 56 minutes into the game, Everardo Tibalt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Esteban Romo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esteban Romo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Jaen's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. If Marcelo Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Ciriaco Chus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chumillo AFC and the Intersport FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciriaco Chus hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gaston Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Jaen struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Esteban Romo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Intersport FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Chus got free with Gogo Montae in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ciriaco Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chumillo AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
