In the 41st minute, one of Rolón:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rolón. Rolón's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 49th minute of the game, when Marcelo Sarracino after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of CyB Ramón Santamarina's goal. Marcelo Sarracino was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Laureano Faron made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, CyB Ramón Santamarina's Vladimiro Errando threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laureano Faron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 59 played minutes Rolón got a freekick which was hit by Joel Lico. Vladimiro Errando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Blai in the 60th minute. Rolón's Vladimiro Errando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Rolón from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Laureano Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Jesus Blai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 83 minutes, Horacio Lertxun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CyB Ramón Santamarina and the Rolón players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horacio Lertxun hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Jesus Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Errando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Faron in the 89th minute of play. Rodrigo Costante might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Hechter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Costante ran back to his position shaking his head. Carmelo Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Florentino Hechter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The CyB Ramón Santamarina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
