The referee ignored Tulumaya FC's protests and gave Serafin Rainerio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Tulumaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Rius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Ralondo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sergio Rius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Ralondo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Tulumaya FC's Sergio Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Ralondo in the 18th minute of play. Julio Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Mitxaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Rius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Mitxaut ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergio Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Mitxaut in the 33rd minute of play. Tiburcio Mitxaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Rius having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tulumaya FC's zone, Julio Ralondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Rius came out of the goal and Julio Ralondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arenales AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Vicente Bermund walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Froilan Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Salomone in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Arenales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Salomone came free, but Santiago Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tulumaya FC's Sergio Rius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Tulumaya FC from getting a goal against them. Iker Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Santiago Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the match Gaudencio Lico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Rius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Julio Ralondo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Arenales AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Ralondo couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Iker Hermon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Tulumaya FC's Esteve Salomone made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Hodei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iker Hermon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Hermon in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Hodei saved Arenales AFC from getting behind. Jorge Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Rius having to interfere. Felix Mero hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
