Salado AFC's Silvano Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Ilixo in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Ulises Bernabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Teofilo Inge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Christian Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Monte having to interfere. When Ulises Bernabel came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Salado AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Bernabel couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Salado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Ilixo came free, but Silvano Monte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Salado AFC booed when Arameo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Endura hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ulises Bernabel might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Bernabel ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Salado AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Placido Vela hit a great ball. Christian Ilixo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ulises Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Inge in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salado AFC's goalkeeper Silvano Monte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Inge in the 96th minute of play. Salado AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
