The supporters of Salado AFC booed when Christophersen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Silvano Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Ulises Bernabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Guilabertus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvano Monte firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Salado AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Siro Eneko hit a great ball. Humberto Gomesano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rodrigo Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Monte having to interfere. Silvano Monte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Abeijon in the 33rd minute of the match. Teofilo Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teofilo Inge came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Salado AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Inge couldn't finish the play. If Augusto Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ulises Bernabels short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Angel Montel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ezequiel Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Bernabel got free with Angel Montel in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teofilo Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Montel having to interfere. Rodrigo Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Monte having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Guilabertus in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvano Monte saved Salado AFC from getting behind. If Rodrigo Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Bernabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Angel Montel made a huge save. Angel Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Inge in the 85th minute of play. Teofilo Inge might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Montel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Inge ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofilo Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Ospetsu's late challenge caught a Salado AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Ospetsu helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Ospetsu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Silvano Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Salado AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Salado AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Christophersen AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
