Ragamuffin Jrs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Bixintxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Haroldo Arnalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Hermon in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ragamuffin Jrs's goalkeeper Haroldo Arnalt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Luisiana booed when Ragamuffin Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ragamuffin Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Bixintxo came free, but Haroldo Arnalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ragamuffin Jrs's Norberto Maju got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haroldo Arnalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Bixintxo in the 77th minute. Damaso Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Haroldo Arnalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Arnalt came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Luisiana's Damaso Bixintxo. But to his dismay, Damaso Bixintxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
