INDEPENDIENTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Quin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Vladimiro Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, PerrosProdigios's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Vigil came free, but Cosme Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Vigil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cosme Quinteros came out and tried to block the shot, but Vladimiro Vigil slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. With his leg Cosme Quinteros managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when INDEPENDIENTE's Emanuel Ortiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 32 minutes into the match, PerrosProdigios's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Vigil came free, but Cosme Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Ortiz in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cosme Quinteros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emanuel Ortiz kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 47thth minute. Though ot was a great shot PerrosProdigios's keeper Cosme Quinteros was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Brion to make the kick off. Cosme Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Pero in the 51st minute of play. If Emiliano Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in PerrosProdigios's zone, Anibal Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Quinteros came out of the goal and Anibal Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emiliano Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cosme Quinteros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE. In the 61stth minute of the game Emanuel Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PerrosProdigios's Cosme Quinteros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Bero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Quinteros. PerrosProdigios's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute Emanuel Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vladimiro Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Quinteros having to interfere. If Vladimiro Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Quinteros was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. PerrosProdigios's Cosme Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Ortiz in the 88th minute of play. If Vladimiro Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Ortiz in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Quinteros saved PerrosProdigios from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's Emanuel Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Quinteros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. INDEPENDIENTE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
