Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9th play minutes Emanuel Ortiz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ariel Lizbeth and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 13th minute, Santiago Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Vladimiro Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Lizbeth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 16 in the game by Emanuel Ortiz from a close distance when the talented Ariel Lizbeth managed to make a qualified save. Chancay's players were relieved. In the 20th minute Vladimiro Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Lizbeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ariel Lizbeth made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Vladimiro Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ariel Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Emanuel Ortiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Lizbeth. Emanuel Ortiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ariel Lizbeth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Ortiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Vladimiro Vigil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ariel Lizbeth, passed just outside the right post. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chancay! Emanuel Ortiz in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Lizbeth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

After a rather tough play, Chancay's Domingo Lain got a free kick in the 64th minute. When INDEPENDIENTE's Emanuel Ortiz in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ariel Lizbeth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee gave INDEPENDIENTE a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emiliano Bero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chancay's Ariel Lizbeth. 6-0. The supporters of Chancay booed when INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emanuel Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81stth minute of the game Emanuel Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chancay's Ariel Lizbeth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When INDEPENDIENTE's Emanuel Ortiz in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chancay's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE booed when Chancay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vladimiro Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the INDEPENDIENTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Vigil couldn't finish the play. After 98 played minutes Chancay got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Eztebe. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. INDEPENDIENTE had played much better football throughout.
