Ildefonso Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Chancay's Flavio Montrel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Matxin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Matxin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Montrel went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Baldomiro Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Baldomiro Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad General Deheza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Rosario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Corderun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Sebastian Orixe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes, Mateo Moise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidad General Deheza and the Chancay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Unidad General Deheza getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mateo Moise hit a great ball. Eulalio Fidencio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Domingo Lain fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chancay's protests and gave Domingo Lain a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Unidad General Deheza booed when Chancay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Lizbeth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Ariel Lizbeth made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Baldomiro Rosario sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Che in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Matxin saved Unidad General Deheza from getting behind. After 75 played minutes, Unidad General Deheza's Moises Garin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ariel Lizbeth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unidad General Deheza reached it. After a rather tough play, Chancay's Domingo Lain got a free kick in the 76th minute. Chancay's Ariel Lizbeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Corderun in the 77th minute of play. Baldomiro Rosario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ariel Lizbeth firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Chancay booed when Unidad General Deheza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Matxin having to interfere. Paulo Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Che in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Chancay booed when Unidad General Deheza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chancay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eulalio Fidencio in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chancay had won after a very even match.
