Spectators: 7077 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) velez sarsfield's Osvaldo Lugo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernabe Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Javier Ekialde made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Osvaldo Lugo sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldo Lugo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Team Jordan's Javier Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Lugo in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Rafel got free with Javier Ekialde in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Berenguer took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernabe Alvarez. Bernabe Alvarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Osvaldo Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Team Jordan's Severino Berenguer made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Lugo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Javier Ekialde. Osvaldo Lugo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 34 minutes into the game, Team Jordan's Ignacio Sazon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Alvarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Genaro Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, velez sarsfield's Osvaldo Lugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Ekialde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute of the match velez sarsfield got a corner. Team Jordan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lázaro Colas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lázaro Colas made a great header on velez sarsfield's corner, it was just that Team Jordan's Javier Ekialde managed to reach the ball for a save. Guaberto Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Alvarez having to interfere. The velez sarsfield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Team Jordan were winning 1-4.

In the 62nd minute of the match, Severino Berenguer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernabe Alvarez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Team Jordan's zone, Genaro Rafel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Ekialde came out of the goal and Genaro Rafel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, velez sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Sazon came free, but Bernabe Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Mariano Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. If Ignacio Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Ignacio Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Jordan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Sazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Severino Berenguer sent off a good shot on target. After 92 played minutes velez sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Moises Matia. The velez sarsfield supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Team Jordan's performance. The match ended with a win for Team Jordan.
