After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Isidoro Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Pueyrredon F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Pagomari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Eulalio Abeitia took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Camilo Pagomari to make any attempt to save it. If Eulalio Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Baldomero Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. General Pueyrredon F.C.'s Gaudencio Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Ugutz in the 92nd minute of play. Gaudencio Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Bartolome in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the General Pueyrredon F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
