In the 8th minute Camilo Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jorge Madaleno managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Cotita FC's Angelino Ugutz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arnaldo Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Camilo Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Ugutz got free with Jorge Madaleno in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cotita FC's Camilo Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Urtats in the 25th minute of play. Camilo Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Pagomari having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Urtats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Pagomari. Cotita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Urtats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Camilo Berasko sped through Cotita FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Pagomari. Eleuterio Tab hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Camilo Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Berasko to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cotita FC's zone, Camilo Berasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Pagomari came out of the goal and Camilo Berasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Berasko was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cotita FC's Camilo Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cotita FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Cotita FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fabian Astigar hit a great ball. Arnaldo Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Camilo Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Camilo Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yanda Pirata y Celeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Berasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Berasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Berasko in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Pagomari saved Cotita FC from getting behind. Jorge Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Bartolome in the 85th minute of the match. Cotita FC's Camilo Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Cotita FC from getting a goal against them. Camilo Berasko struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Camilo Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yanda Pirata y Celeste. Camilo Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Pagomari having to interfere.
