With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Servando in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justo Esdras saved sportivo lipton from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Lucio Servando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Gaudencio Perico could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Victor Abajas however easily saved by the left post. Justo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Servando in the 33rd minute of play. Justo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Ekain in the 35th minute of play. Justo Esdras came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Herrera's Antonio Ekain. But to his dismay, Antonio Ekain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Justo Esdras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Servando in the 86th minute. sportivo lipton's Justo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Ekain in the 93rd minute of play. Herrera played a much better game than sportivo lipton and deserved their victory. The sportivo lipton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
