Pablo Quentin ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, Brandsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Mincho came free, but Amadeo Ganix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Brandsen FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lázaro Birila hit a great ball. After 10 minutes, Pablo Quentin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brandsen FC's Amadeo Ganix tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquilino Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Gimnasia CdelU's Gil Donatello made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Ganix was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Gil Donatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Amadeo Ganix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Gimnasia CdelU booed when Brandsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Pedro Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimnasia CdelU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Donatello in the 35th minute of play forced Brandsen FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Ganix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Brandsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Donatello came free, but Amadeo Ganix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gimnasia CdelU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Brandsen FC's Ezequiel Arnau got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Roger van Gastel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Amadeo Ganix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ezequiel Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Gimnasia CdelU's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Birila came free, but Aquilino Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
