Justo Esdras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Gervaso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 9th minute Paolo Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, sportivo lipton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Vimaro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in sportivo lipton's zone, Gustavo Gervaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Esdras came out of the goal and Gustavo Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Gervaso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Deportivo Martes's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Steven came free, but Generoso Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Martes getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rigoberto Calisto hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, sportivo lipton's Melquiades Llin tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gustavo Gervaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Justo Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustavo Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Domingos Etxekopar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justo Esdras. Domingos Etxekopar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

The wind increased when Gustavo Gervaso made the kick off in the second half. Domingos Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Esdras having to interfere. Justo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gervaso in the 56th minute of play. Justo Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gervaso in the 58th minute of the match. Generoso Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gaudencio Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Osoro having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Deportivo Martes got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Calisto. 64 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Perico lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Generoso Osoro. 71 minutes into the match, sportivo lipton's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Etxekopar came free, but Justo Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of sportivo lipton booed when Deportivo Martes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. sportivo lipton's Melquiades Llin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Martes. Gaudencio Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Generoso Osoro made a huge save. Paolo Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Osoro having to interfere. Gaudencio Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Steven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Generoso Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. sportivo lipton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
