Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Urbes in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Hibai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Albano Ibon fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Napaleofú FC's protests and gave Albano Ibon a yellow card for diving instead. Delmiro Ulizes charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Ulizes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Rodrigo Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Theobald FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Patrido came free, but Eusebio Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Patrido was the one to do the kick off. Donato Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Birjaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Maria in the 58th minute of the match. Rodrigo Patrido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Birjaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 64 minutes of play Theobald FC's Delmiro Ulizes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Theobald FC's Delmiro Ulizes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Pedro Hibai made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Mauro Chano sent off a good shot on target. During the 72nd minute of the match Albano Ibon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albano Ibon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Napaleofú FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Albano Ibon hit a great ball. Mauro Chano struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Hibai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Theobald FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Chano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Hibai. Leonardo Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Hibai having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Rodrigo Patrido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
