In the 10th minute, Garrison FC's Virgilio Flores ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Silviano. Edgard Silviano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 15 played minutes, ROPA SUCIA's Rogelio Raitin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artemio Pello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ROPA SUCIA reached it. After having played for 16 minutes, Virgilio Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrison FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garrison FC's Artemio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Cordarrell in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Garrison FC's Virgilio Flores dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Benigno Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes, ROPA SUCIA's Rogelio Raitin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artemio Pello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match Luis Abad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Pello skillfully saved the ball. Aquilino Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Lauro to make the kick off. Virgilio Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Silviano having to interfere. Edgard Silviano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Flores's shot from short distance in the 60th minute.
