An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Geleberto in the 24th minute of play forced Garrison FC's goalkeeper Artemio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Machado's late challenge caught a Garrison FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciriaco Geleberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaston Victoro in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alonzo Oidor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Gregorio Machado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. If Virgilio Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Instituto de Cordoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Oidor made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Gaston Victoro sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Garrison FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
