Segundo Matai's late challenge caught a Millonarios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Matai helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Troyanos getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Segundo Matai hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Troyanos got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Olivar. Arsenio Micael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Vincent having to make a save. Victor Jokin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Celipe notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Millonarios's Valentin Porfiro. Valentin Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 25 minutes, Jeronimo Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troyanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Celipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Porfiro having to interfere. Valentin Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Troyanos booed when Millonarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Celipe might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Porfiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Celipe ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Millonarios's Justino Honrio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Loco to make the kick off. Valentin Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Millonarios's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Olivar came free, but Valentin Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Celipe in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Porfiro saved Millonarios from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Troyanos's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Loco came free, but Joel Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Celipe succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. 90 minutes into the game, Pablo Sadurni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millonarios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Troyanos the free kick. A collision led to Millonarios getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. With a left leg Valentin Porfiro saved Millonarios from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Troyanos fully deserved thier win.
