In the 25th minute, Fernando Donio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Argina struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Edgard Silviano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamberías. Leon Fero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Celino in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Fernando Donio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Silviano. ROPA SUCIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Donio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tamberías's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Aristides Lauro scored to the left of an out of position Leon Fero, making the score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Donio was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Feliberto Haitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Niceto Figueroa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Fero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fernando Donio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Silviano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Artemio Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edgard Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ROPA SUCIA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tamberías were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
