Paulo Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Nalo in the 8th minute of the match. 蒋潮邦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Paulo Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ladislao Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute 蒋潮邦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preston dc's Paulo Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Preston dc from getting a goal against them. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cristian Nalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Preston dc's Paulo Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Marin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cristian Nalo sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蒋潮邦, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cristian Nalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Paulo Marin made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Dantel to make the kick off. Paulo Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蒋潮邦 in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of AC San Martín de Mendoza booed when Preston dc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Dimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Marin was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 蒋潮邦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Marin having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Cristian Nalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Preston dc's Paulo Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Cristian Nalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Marin. Preston dc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Nalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Nalo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Cristian Nalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Marin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cristian Nalo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Marin. Paulo Marin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Ricardo Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Preston dc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Dantel couldn't finish the play. 蒋潮邦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Paulo Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Nestor Colas mouthed his way into the referee's book. With a little luck, AC San Martín de Mendoza's Dariusz Kosmatka got control of the ball when Ricardo Dantel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Alejo Txaran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Marin. Preston dc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejo Txaran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 93 minutes into the match, Preston dc's Ricardo Dantel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dariusz Kosmatka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Nalo scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Marin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the AC San Martín de Mendoza players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
