Paulo Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Paulo Marin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Ricardo Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Dantel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Lando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Ricardo Dantel in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lisandro Lando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ricardo Dantel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Preston dc's Nestor Colas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lisandro Lando but with some difficulty. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
