After 17 played minutes Arnoldo Janssen got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Oinatz. In the 19th minute Felipe Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Seber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Felipe Oinatz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Miguel Seber to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Procopio in the 23rd minute of play forced Arnoldo Janssen's goalkeeper Gonzalo Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonides Tiso came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Arnoldo Janssen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Tiso couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Paulin's late challenge caught a Papola F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Paulin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arnoldo Janssen's Eleuterio Paulin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Miguel Seber was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Felipe Oinatz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Oinatz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Papola F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Seber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonzalo Loiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Emenon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Emenon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Papola F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arnoldo Janssen:s goal. When Luis Deunoro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papola F.C.'s protests and gave Luis Deunoro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Papola F.C.'s Luis Deunoro got a free kick in the 59th minute. The Arnoldo Janssen fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Arnoldo Janssen's Felipe Oinatz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
