Hermengildo Senon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Eudoxio having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Aresti made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Tonete got free with Isidro Eudoxio in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermengildo Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
