After a defensive mix-up in Cuervo 46's zone, Ambrosio Gonchan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Abadie came out of the goal and Ambrosio Gonchan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Gaztea charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Gaztea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervo 46's zone, Ambrosio Gonchan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Abadie came out of the goal and Ambrosio Gonchan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Chorche struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nicanor Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuervo 46. When Cuervo 46's Paolo Chuse in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bajo Nuñez's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Feliciano Urdin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jaime Abadie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ambrosio Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bajo Nuñez supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bajo Nuñez would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
