After a defensive mix-up in Soldados Albirrojos's zone, Eusebio Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Udalaitz came out of the goal and Eusebio Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Gerardo Bitxintxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soldados Albirrojos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacupampa FC the free kick. There was no doubt that Tacupampa FC were the better team. Tacupampa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
