The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Rocendo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Tacupampa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Led U2:s goal. Tacupampa FC:s Clemente Brais showed great skill when he stopped Vicente Elivareo:s penalty. If Eusebio Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Brais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Haritzeder went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Gabriel Haritzeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Brais. Tacupampa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Haritzeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

56 minutes into the game, Led U2's Baldomiro Monte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Brais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 63rd match minute, Tacupampa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Frasco to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Brais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tacupampa FC booed when Led U2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Eusebio Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacupampa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Led U2 booed when Tacupampa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Fiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Lander came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacupampa FC's Emilio Quirce. But to his dismay, Emilio Quirce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Camilo Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacupampa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Clemencin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Clemencin in the 98th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Tacupampa FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
