After having played for 4 minutes, Moises Bemabe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soldados Albirrojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Bemabe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Bemabe in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Soldados Albirrojos's Jose Heli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Lander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Soldados Albirrojos's Anselmo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Haritzeder in the 12th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Baldomiro Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Soldados Albirrojos's goalkeeper Anselmo Udalaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Lop. In the 27th minute, Jose Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Moises Bemabe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Led U2's Angel Lander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carolo Lop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Soldados Albirrojos were furious when Victor Silbestre was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Led U2's Vicente Elivareo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anselmo Udalaitz. In the 41st minute Carolo Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Moises Bemabe made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Bemabe got free with Angel Lander in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute, Rigoberto Abeijon had to leave the field with a concussion. 59 minutes into the game, Serafino Henrico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Anselmo Udalaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Soldados Albirrojos's zone, Baldomiro Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Udalaitz came out of the goal and Baldomiro Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Soldados Albirrojos's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Lop came free, but Anselmo Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Led U2's Gabriel Haritzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carolo Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Carolo Lop came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Led U2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Lop couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, Soldados Albirrojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soldados Albirrojos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vicente Elivareo was slow to take the kick. During this time Led U2's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Led U2's Vicente Elivareo to fire away a dangerous shot which Anselmo Udalaitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 94 played minutes Soldados Albirrojos got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Bitxintxo. Carolo Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Led U2 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soldados Albirrojos for a fine match.
