After having played for 6 minutes, Lázaro Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corea Grande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Hermon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Berriotxoa in the 8th minute of play forced Corea Grande's goalkeeper Marcos Gergori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mario Mero fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agote FC's protests and gave Mario Mero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Corea Grande booed when Agote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agote FC's Carmelo Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Txilar in the 18th minute of play. Eloy Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Corea Grande's Marcos Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Tartalo in the 24th minute of play. Carmelo Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Albino Berriotxoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Corea Grande's Leonardo Txilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Montel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Agote FC's zone, Jeronimo Asteri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Montel came out of the goal and Jeronimo Asteri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Corea Grande booed when Agote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Berriotxoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Agote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Txilar came free, but Carmelo Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Agote FC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Berriotxoa. Jeronimo Asteri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmelo Montel having to make a save. If Jeronimo Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corea Grande's Severiano Cordeiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carmelo Montel but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jeronimo Asteri made the kick off in the second half. If Leonardo Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Romero in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Montel saved Agote FC from getting behind. After 64 minutes, Albino Berriotxoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agote FC and the Corea Grande players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Agote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Txilar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Montel was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Leonardo Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carmelo Montel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Denis Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Romero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmelo Montel having to make a save. After some careless play in the Agote FC defense, Denis Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Montel. The Agote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Montel should have stopped the shot. Jeronimo Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Romero struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Carmelo Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corea Grande. Corea Grande's Leonardo Txilar got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Corea Grande fully deserved thier win.
