Corea Grande's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Kusko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Leonardo Txilar came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Corea Grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Txilar couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Asteri scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Beltran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jeronimo Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Corea Grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Asteri couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Corea Grande's Leonardo Txilar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adan Beltran. Adan Beltran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Albinegro Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Adan Beltran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Asteri. In the 42nd minute, one of Albinegro Fútbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Albinegro Fútbol Club. The referee gave Corea Grande a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeronimo Asteri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Albinegro Fútbol Club's Adan Beltran. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Gergori made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Conrado Kusko sent off a good shot on target. Adan Beltran came out of the goal and Leonardo Txilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adan Beltran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Marcos Gergori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Ponciano in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Cleto Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonardo Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Albinegro Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Asteri came free, but Adan Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Albinegro Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Adan Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
