With a little luck, Que No Decaiga's Octavio Gaitano got control of the ball when Bernardo Gaspard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute Hernan Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Gaitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Eleuterio Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Melchor Lop made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Cruz. Alberdi AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Octavio Gaitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Cidro in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Hernan Cidro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alberdi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Cidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 minutes, Venancio Monte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Que No Decaiga and the Alberdi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venancio Monte hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Que No Decaiga's goalkeeper Octavio Gaitano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bernardo Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Que No Decaiga's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Cidro came free, but Octavio Gaitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberdi AFC's Bernardo Gaspard got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Eleuterio Eutor made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Delmar Eudoxio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Que No Decaiga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alberdi AFC the free kick. Lorenzo Montes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octavio Gaitano. Que No Decaiga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Eleuterio Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Alberdi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Eutor came free, but Gaston Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Lop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gaston Cruz made a huge save. When Ruben Odol fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Que No Decaiga's protests and gave Ruben Odol a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Bernardo Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Hernan Cidro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alberdi AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 84th match minute, Alberdi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Montes to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Que No Decaiga's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Gaspard came free, but Octavio Gaitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Monte hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Alberdi AFC's Hilario Edur couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Que No Decaiga. If Eleuterio Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Que No Decaiga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Que No Decaiga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
