In the 14th minute, Club Atlético River Plate's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celedonio Blai fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fernan Diegotxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Herensuge's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Herensuge came free, but Fernan Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Niguel during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Club Atlético River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Niguel to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chovet AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nicasio Herensuge hit a great ball. Mario Salvatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Tuste having to interfere. Nicasio Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Ponce to strike the kick off in the second half. If Mario Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Diegotxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Blai in the 59th minute of the match. Higinio Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Venceslas kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Higinio Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Herensuge came free, but Fernan Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Higinio Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st play minute Higinio Ponce came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Tuste. 2-1.
