After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Celedonio Blai managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candido Richie made a kick off. The long shot by Venancio Pacifico in the 53rd minute really tested Remigio Normando's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Granates's Candido Richie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Tuste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Celedonio Blai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Normando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Nicasio Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Normando having to interfere. Candido Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Celedonio Blai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Chovet AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chovet AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
