Remigio Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Esiquio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Granates's Remigio Normando. Remigio Normando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Gudesteo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Christian Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernabe Dolcet to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Dolcet got free with Remigio Normando in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Dolcet in the 54th minute of play forced Granates's goalkeeper Remigio Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Normando made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gaudencio Esiquio sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Granates's goalkeeper Remigio Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Esiquio. After a defensive mix-up in Barracas AFC's zone, Candido Richie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Gudesteo came out of the goal and Candido Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Christian Estebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Estebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Balasi's late challenge caught a Barracas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Balasi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Granates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Balasi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Granates's zone, Gaudencio Esiquio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Normando came out of the goal and Gaudencio Esiquio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Gaudencio Esiquio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Barracas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Furman came free, but Jonas Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christian Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Normando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Dolcet, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Gaudencio Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Remigio Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
