Albano Celino hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marcos Vetos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Genaro Jakobe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Gilberto Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FCA Game Over's Gervasio Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With 52 minutes on the clock, Justo Natal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
