Chovet AFC's Rodrigo Tuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Felo in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisito Senio to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Chovet AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alicia AFC:s goal. The referee gave Alicia AFC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. Alicia AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Herensuge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alicia AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
