When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Generoso Erasto put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Justino Stephen. After a rather tough play, BOEDO RAVENS's Norberto Belmiro got a free kick in the 8th minute. Rodrigo Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bernardino Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Isidoro Hanot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GUAYMALLEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Rodrigo Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Isidoro Hanot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bernardino Nuxila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isidoro Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Isidoro Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Marcos Bemabe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Nuxila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. BOEDO RAVENS's Generoso Erasto got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Generoso Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The BOEDO RAVENS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GUAYMALLEN were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Generoso Erasto to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Generoso Erasto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Stephen was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to GUAYMALLEN getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ismael Hartz hit a great ball. Generoso Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Stephen having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, GUAYMALLEN's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Erasto came free, but Justino Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Hartz got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 71st match minute, GUAYMALLEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Hartz to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, BOEDO RAVENS's Generoso Erasto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Stephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Isidoro Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bruno Baudelio fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GUAYMALLEN's protests and gave Bruno Baudelio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GUAYMALLEN's Bruno Baudelio got a free kick in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, BOEDO RAVENS's goalkeeper Bernardino Nuxila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Hanot. Generoso Erasto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Stephen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Valentin Isias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The GUAYMALLEN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GUAYMALLEN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
