After having played for 14 minutes, Generoso Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOEDO RAVENS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Erasto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Erasto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fernan Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Erasto might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernan Diegotxe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Erasto ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the game, BOEDO RAVENS's Generoso Erasto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Diegotxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bernardino Nuxila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Salvatore in the 38th minute of play. Generoso Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Valentin Isias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A nice corner shot did that Maximiliano Dimo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernan Diegotxe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Erasto to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Mario Salvatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Generoso Erasto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernan Diegotxe. That made the score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. Mario Salvatore charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bernardino Nuxila came out of the goal and Higinio Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Club Atlético River Plate could leave the field as winners, despite BOEDO RAVENS having more of the ball for most of the match.
