Gogo Mederi hit a great ball. Nicolas Oinatz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfonso Gentza took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Florin. Danilo Florin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Estrella de Maldonado's Carmelo Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Matei in the 20th minute of play. Ernesto Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Danilo Florin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Txomin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Alfonso Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gogo Mederi got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gogo Mederi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ernesto Nardo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Danilo Florin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella de Maldonado. Carmelo Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Matei in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Pata Corta booed when Estrella de Maldonado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella de Maldonado's zone, Angelino Matei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Palos came out of the goal and Angelino Matei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Pata Corta's Candido Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Gentza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alfonso Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Angelino Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
