Alejandro Cidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Osasun having to interfere. Marcial Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Raymond in the 8th minute of the match. Victoriano Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leo Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Spartan booed when Chasicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Leo Llope was a little too slow when Victoriano Maurin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. Pascual Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Teodosio Sol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chasicó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victoriano Maurin made a kick off. Omar Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marcial Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Omar Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Alejandro Cidro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Osasun. FC Spartan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Cidro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 1-3 became the score in the 71st minute when Omar Raymond elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chasicó's Eulalio Bartuelo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Chasicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Cidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chasicó's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
