Froilan Indar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dionisio Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Carlos Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, La Piedra's goalkeeper Augusto Senon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Chlebek. A collision led to Club Atletico Bolívar getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Guillermo Bernebe hit a great ball. Guillermo Bernebe charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Bernebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillermo Bernebe hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Bartolo Laffitte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Indar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Firme to make the kick off. Alfred Chlebek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Alfred Chlebek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 played minutes La Piedra got a freekick which was hit by Julio Vedillo. In the 62nd match minute, La Piedra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Caton to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Julio Vedillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Indar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 69 minutes La Piedra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guillermo Bernebe who took care of the corner kick. Vinicio Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the game, Carlos Osorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Froilan Indar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Bernebe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Senon having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Maximiliano Dimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Paolo Valiente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Indar skillfully saved the ball. Augusto Senon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Bernebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Augusto Senon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Chlebek in the 85th minute of play. Froilan Indar made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Bartolo Laffitte sent off a good shot on target. Chants of La Piedra echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Club Atletico Bolívar had held the ball for most of the match.
