The supporters of Bajada AFC booed when FC Spartan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Gorosti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 16th minute, when Bajada AFC's Carlos Artizar after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Marcial Osasun in FC Spartan's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. FC Spartan's Gonzalo Lehoi got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Lehoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julian Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Lehoi in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Galindo saved Bajada AFC from getting behind. Marcelo Egoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Egoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes FC Spartan got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Egoitz. Marcial Osasun made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Gervasio Neron sent off a good shot on target. If Gonzalo Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gonzalo Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julian Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Maurin in the 54th minute of play forced Bajada AFC's goalkeeper Julian Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Galindo having to interfere. Apolo Karmel's late challenge caught a FC Spartan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Karmel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bajada AFC's Apolo Karmel got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 played minutes Bajada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Artizar. After 60 played minutes, FC Spartan's Gonzalo Domingues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julian Galindo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Spartan reached it. 71 minutes into the match, FC Spartan's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Neron came free, but Marcial Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marciano Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Gervasio Neron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Egoitz was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some careless play in the FC Spartan defense, Gervasio Neron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Osasun. The FC Spartan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Osasun should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, FC Spartan's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Asur came free, but Marcial Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, FC Spartan's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Neron came free, but Marcial Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ambrosio Serapio fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Spartan's protests and gave Ambrosio Serapio a yellow card for diving instead. Ambrosio Serapio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
